The story
Nor-Cal Surf Shop was started in 1991 by high school friends Greg and Shawn, five years after they graduated, across the road from Linda Mar beach in Pacifica.
It is home of the original NorCal brand, and the shop and its label have grown in size and recognition every year since.
Today it offers boards, wetsuits, rentals, lessons and a surf team, plus NorCal hats, hoodies and tees for cold-water surfers.
